Intimate Rooms with Attention to Detail and Comfort
The eighteen room Davidson Villiage Inn has the charm of a bed and breakfast; exquisitely furnished rooms,
fine quality linens, and the little personal touches that you just don’t find in many hotels. Combine this
with the intimate, more private setting of a European style hotel, and you have the best of both worlds.
Four-poster beds, armoires, a sitting area for relaxing, and ample lighting throughout leave you with a true
sense of comfort. A separate bath and vanity area include a hair dryer, luxurious cotton towels and our very
own line of soaps, shampoo and amenities. All our rooms come with an iron and board, same day valet laundry service,
wireless high speed internet access, and a flat screen television with cable and HBO (DVD players upon request).
From our workstation in the lobby you can print out your bording pass or check up on your emails. We also offer limited business services including copies, document printing, & faxing. We want you to be rested and ready for the day ahead.
Where you’ll really notice the difference is with the level of service provided by our experienced and friendly staff.
Whether you’re traveling on business or moving at a slower pace, we can help you find your way. Just around the corner
from the Inn you’ll find why people keep coming back to Davidson; the restaurants, Summit Coffee, the Village Bookstore,
boutiques and shops, even Concerts
on the green, there’s no other place quite like it.

Continuing a Tradition of Service
The Town of Davidson and Davidson College share a rich history. Founded in 1837 the college continues to develop students
form all walks of life into the leaders of tomorrow. The Town grew up around the college and was once a busy hub for
train travelers. People came from far and wide to visit the grand Maxwell Chambers Hotel, with an elegant 200-seat
dining room and modern accommodations warmed by steam heat and hot and cold running water.
The Davidson Village Inn, rising on the site of the Chambers Hotel, gives
rebirth to the valued tradition of serving guests in the same gracious
manner. Built in 1993, the Inn's large, arched windows, covered pedestrian
walkway, and "Mecklenburg" brick all serve to enhance its village
setting. Once again, people come from far and wide to visit an elegant inn
and enjoy the beauty of Davidson and historic North Mecklenburg.
