Fahrenheit 451 comes to Davidson College
This Tuesday evening at 8pm the Aquila Theatre Company will be performing Ray Bradbury’s classic Fahrenheit 451 in the Duke Family Performing Hall. Written in 1953, Bradbury presents a future American society where books are outlawed and “firemen” burn any that are found. The title refers to the temperature that Bradbury understood to be the autoignition point of paper. The Aquila Theatre Company was founded in London, based out of New York, and it’s mission is to bring the greatest theatrical works to the greatest number. Here’s your chance to be counted!
